Chalice Well is a lightly raced metropolitan placed mare in Victoria who boasts strong form lines and above average ability.
She has started single figures in all of her 10 race starts which includes an ultra-impressive three-length maiden win at Kyneton over 1100 metres and then was arguably unlucky not to win her two subsequent starts at Moonee Valley!
She closed strongly and placed third in June at Bendigo behind the highly spruiked metropolitan winner Major Share and was beaten less than two lengths at Morphettville – showing her ability to handle soft ground in both starts.
Chalice Well began her most recent preparation charging late to just miss winning over 900-metres first up at Albury and hasn’t had things go right her last two starts including when starting $3.20 in her most recent run.
Chalice Well is race fit and ready to go on with and could be back at the races as soon as next week!
She is also eligible for Vobis Gold and Vobis Platinum bonuses.
