Tszinsi, 3yo filly by Toronado x China Star. We just purchased this lightly raced filly who carries a lovely pedigree being out of a Stakes winning NZ mare. She was a Magic Millions Sales purchase for $110,000 as a yearling. She has had 4 starts with a 3rd at Kembla Grange in her first prep. She's had 2 starts in her second prep with the latest run at Hawkesbury earlier this month. We feel she was a great buy for $9450 and think she will come on up here on the Sunshine Coast and will run well for the stable. She is a beautifully balanced filly with plenty of substance to her. She has great angles and strength all over, along with a strong shoulder, forearm, hip and hindquarter. She also has a very pretty head and a sharp constitution, all equally important traits when looking for a quality young horse at a sale. She is an athletic moving filly, by the right sire in Tagaloa and represents incredible value. The yearling market has drastically steadied in recent months and although she was the top priced Tagaloa at the sale, I strongly believe a filly of this calibre would have fetched north of $150K at the January Magic Millions sale.
